Who We Are

Statement of Faith

Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God. (Matthew 16:16) He was crucified, dead, buried, and raised to life. (Luke 23-24)

The Bible is the Word of God to be used for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.
(II Timothy 3:16-17)

Salvation is the gift of God by grace through faith. (Eph. 2:8)
“If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess that you are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)

The Holy Spirit is the seal or mark that we receive when we accept Christ as Lord of our lives. (Eph. 1:13-14) He leads us and opens our eyes to the things of God and helps us understand the truths God has given us in His Word.
(I Cor. 2:10-14)

Baptism is an act of obedience for the saved. It symbolizes the death of the old self and the new life we now have with Christ.
(Romans 6:1-4)

What we Believe

The Lord wants to make this church a pool of Bethesda, stirring the people so that they might look to Him for peace, joy and healing, a place where the downtrodden and the brokenhearted might be healed and restored. (Matt. 5:3-4)

He wants this church to be a place where every believer can find their ministry and place in the body of Christ as He fits us together, with Jesus as the head of His church. (1 Corinthians 12:25-26)

That this may come to pass in this church; we will endeavor to follow the Lord through the leading of His spirit, honor and obey His word, and discipline those things that are outside of God’s grace and will that He would be the head of this church. (John 14:15-24)

We are a non-denominational fellowship of believers who meet weekly to worship the living God through song, the Word, and communion. Everyone is welcome to come “as you are” and share in the fellowship.
